Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Tauchnetzvermögens von Lösungen grenzflächenaktiver Stoffe mit einem Netzplättchen aus Baumwollgewebe fest. Das Verfahren ist anwendbar für Lösungen grenzflächenaktiver Stoffe, unabhängig von ihrem ionischen Zustand, die in neutralen, schwach sauren oder schwach alkalischen Textilbädern verwendet werden. Das Verfahren ist für Mercerisiermittel (stark alkalische Bäder) oder für Carbonisiermittel (stark saure Bäder) nicht anwendbar.
