Das Verfahren wurde in Ringversuchen erfolgreich an rohem Hühnerfleisch, Schweinefleisch, flüssigem Vollei, Lachs und Camembert geprüft. Andere Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, dass das Verfahren für viele andere Lebensmittel anwendbar ist.
