Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von etwa 2 Milliäquivalenten tertiärer Aminoxide fest. Komponenten, die durch Reaktion mit Essigsäure-anhydrid ihre Basizität verlieren durch Amidbildung (2.B. primäre und sekundäre Amine), stören. Sind diese primären und sekundären Amins anwesend, so sind sie mit einem anderen Verfahren zu erfassen, z.B. durch Reaktion m i t Schwefel ko h lenst Off. Das Verfahren ist anwendbar auf Feststoffe oder wäßrige Lösungen der Aktivsubstanz. Wenn der Gehalt als Massenanteil in Prozent angegeben wird, muß die Molmasse des Aminoxids bekannt sein.
