Diese Norm gilt nicht für Abwasser, das Leichtflüssigkeiten, z.B. Benzin, Diesel- und Heizöl, enthält und umfaßt nicht die Behandlung von stabilen Emulsionen von Fetten und Ölen in Wasser. Diese Norm gilt nicht für den Einsatz von biologisch aktiven Mitteln (Bakterien und Enzymen zur sogenannten "Selbstreinigung").
