Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen im Hinblick auf die konstruktive Gestaltung, die Typprüfung, die Herstellung und die Überprüfung während der Fertigung von fahrbaren Feuerlöschern mit metallischen Löschmittelbehältern, die den Anforderungen von EN 1866-1 entsprechen, fest, soweit die Druckfestigkeit betrachtet wird. Dieser Teil gilt für fahrbare Feuerlöscher mit einem zulässigen Höchstdruck PS von kleiner oder gleich 30 bar, die nicht explosive, nicht brennbare, ungiftige und nicht oxidierende Flüssigkeiten oder Pulver beinhalten. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Kohlendioxid-Feuerlöscher.
