Diese Europäische Norm legt den Schriftzeichenvorrat und die Steuerfunktionen fest, die für den Infonnationsaustausch über Telex-Netzwerkeinrichtungen zutreffen. Diese Norm ist dazu vorgesehen, im Rahmen weiterer Europäischer Funktionsnormen angewendet und bezeichnet zu werden, die Folgen codierter Zeichen fur den Austausch codierter Informationen zwischen Informationsverarbeitungssystemen (IPS) festlegen. Diese Norm legt zwei alternative Optionen von Schriftzeichenvorräten fest: - Option A für lateinische Schriftzeichen und - Option B für lateinische und griechische Schriftzeichen ANMERKUNG: Die Verwendung der drei Codekombinationen bei der Ziffernumschaltung im Telex-Code liegt außerhalb des Anwendungsbereiches dieser Norm. Diese Vemendung ist für eine nationale oder private Verabredung reserviert.
