Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren, bei dem das żDreipunktbiegeverfahrenż angewendet wird zur Bestimmung der Fähigkeit eines vernetzten Klebstoffes (gegebenenfalls mit Primer) an einem Fügewerkstoff zu haften, der eine bestimmte Oberflächenbeschaffenheit hat oder eine spezielle Oberflächenvorbehandlung erfahren hat. Dieses Verfahren wird ausschließlich zur Qualitätssicherung angewandt und der Fügewerkstoff sollte starr oder gegen Biegen ausreichend widerstandsfähig sein, wie z. B. Stahl oder Aluminiumlegierungen. Bei anderen Fügewerkstoffen sollte die Dicke dem Elastizitätsmodul angepasst oder eine geeignete Versteifung angewendet werden.
