EN 1999-1-3 gibt die Grundlagen für die Bemessung von Tragwerken aus Aluminiumlegierungen in Bezug auf den Grenzzustand der Ermüdungsfestigkeit. EN 1999-1-3 enthält Regeln für: schwingbruchsichere Bemessung, schadenstolerante Bemessung und versuchsunterstützte Bemessung. Es ist vorgesehen, dass EN 1999-1-3 in Verbindung mit EN 1090-3 - Technische Anforderungen für Aluminiumtragwerke -, die die erforderlichen Anforderungen zur Erfüllung der Bemessungsannahmen während der Ausführung von Bauteilen und Tragwerken enthält, angewendet wird.
