Dieses Dokument ist anwendbar für Beton, der für Ortbetonbauwerke, vorgefertigte Betonbauwerke sowie für Fertigteile für Gebäude und Ingenieurbauwerke verwendet wird. (2) Der durch dieses Dokument beschriebene Beton kann Folgendes sein: ż Normal-, Schwer- und Leichtbeton; ż Baustellenbeton, Transportbeton oder in einem Fertigteilwerk hergestellter Beton; ż verdichteter oder selbstverdichtender Beton, der, abgesehen von künstlich eingeführten Luftporen, keinen nennenswerten Anteil an eingeschlossener Luft enthält. (3) Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen fest an: ż Betonausgangsstoffe; ż die Eigenschaften von Frisch- und Festbeton; ż die Einschränkungen für die Betonzusammensetzung; ż Festlegung des Betons; ż Lieferung von Frischbeton; ż die Verfahren der Produktionskontrolle; ż die Bewertungskriterien für Einzelwerte. (4) Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar für: ż Porenbeton; ż Schaumbeton; ż Beton mit einer Rohdichte von weniger als 800 kg/m3; ż Feuerfestbeton. (5) Dieses Dokument enthält keine Anforderungen hinsichtlich Gesundheit und Sicherheit zum Schutz der Arbeiter während der Herstellung und Lieferung des Betons.
