Diese Norm legt die allgemeinen Toleranzen von Strangpressprofilen aus Aluminiumlegierungen für die Luft- und Raumfahrt fest. Sie ist anwendbar auf genormte oder in einer Zeichnung angebene Profile, deren Querschnitt gleichmäßig oder ungleichmäßig in einen Kreis von 250 mm eingeschrieben werden kann, und auf halbhohle Profile, deren Grenzmaße laut Norm angegeben sind. Bei Profilen mit größeren Maßen und komplexeren Formen müssen die Toleranzen durch Absprache zwischen dem Hersteller und dem Anwender festgelegt werden.
