Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Laser-Justierfilter und Laser-Justierbrillen. Dies sind Filter und Augenschutzgeräte zum Einsatz bei Justierarbeiten an Lasern und Laseraufbauten nach EN 60825-1:2007, bei denen gefährliche Strahlung im sichtbaren Spektralbereich zwischen 400 nm und 700 nm auftritt. Filter nach dieser Europäischen Norm reduzieren diese Strahlung auf Werte, die für Laser der Klasse 2 (≤ 1 mW für Dauerstrichlaser) festgelegt sind. Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren und die Kennzeichnung fest. Einen Leitfaden für die Auswahl und Benutzung enthält Anhang B. EN 207 gilt für Augenschutzgeräte gegen zufällige Einwirkung von Laserstrahlung.
