Für einen Torsionsversuch zur Ermittlung des Bruchdrehmomentes von Schrauben mit Nenndurchmessern von 1 mm bis 10 mm und mit Festigkeitsklassen von 8.8 bis 12.9 sind die Prüfbedingungen, die Durchführung sowie ein Beispiel einer Anordnung einer Prüfeinrichtung angegeben. Dieser Versuch gilt auch für Schrauben mit Nenndurchmessern unter 3 mm, für die in ÖNORM EN 20898-1 keine Bruch- und Prüfkräfte angegeben sind, sowie für kurze Schrauben mit Nenndurchmesser von 3 mm bis 10 mm, bei denen ein Zugversuch nicht durchgeführt werden kann. Für Gewindestifte mit Innensechskant gelten die angeführten Mindest-Bruchdrehmomente nicht. Die Berechnungsformeln für die Mindest-Bruchdrehmomente sind angeführt. Hinweise für die Auswertung der Versuchsergebnisse sind enthalten.
