Diese Europäische Norm legt die geforderten Eigenschaften, Überprüfungen und Prüfungen, Qualitätssicherung und Qualifikation, Abnahme- und Lieferbedingungen für Buchsen, ausgelegt für die Verzögerung von Gleitbewegungen, Drehungen und kleinen Schwingungen unter Last, zur Verwendung ausschließlich in der Luft- und Raumfahrt fest. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für alle Buchsen bei Bezugnahme in den jeweiligen Produktnormen oder einer Konstruktionsdokumentation. Die Beschichtung ist für die Verwendung in einem Temperaturbereich von -50 °C bis 163 °C ausgelegt. Aluminiumbuchsen sind auf -55 °C bis 121 °C beschränkt.
