Die Anforderungen an temperaturkompensierte, einpolige Schutzschalter mit Nennströmen von 0,5 A bis 25 A sind festgelegt. Diese Schutzschalter sind mit Druck-Zug-Bestätigung durch Druckknopf mit Freiauslösung, mit verzögerter Auslösefunktion und explosionsdicht ausgeführt. Sie sind kurzschlußsicher und ihr Temperaturbereich liegt zwischen -55 °C und +125 °C, bei einer Betriebshöhe bis Z bis maximal 22000 m. Diese Norm ist in Verbindung mit ÖNORM EN 2350 anzuwenden.
