Die Anforderungen an temperaturkompensierte, dreipolige Schutzschalter mit Nennströmen von 0,5 A bis 25 A sind festgelegt. Diese Schutzschalter sind mit Druck-Zug-Betätigung durch Druckknopf, mit Freiauslösung, mit verzögerter Auslösefunktion und explosionsdicht ausgeführt. Sie sind kurzschlußsicher und ihr Temperaturbereich liegt zwischen -55 °C und +125 °C für In < 15 A und zwischen -55 °C und +90 °C für In > 15 A, bei einer Betriebshöhe Z bis maximal 22 000 m. Diese Norm ist in Verbindung mit ÖNORM EN 2350 anzuwenden.
