Diese Norm spezifiziert eine Methode für die Probenahme von Ferronickellosen in Barren- oder Stückform mit dem Ziel, für die Bestimmung der chemischen Zusammensetzung des Loses eine repräsentative Laborprobe zu erhalten. Auf Vereinbarung zwischen Besteller und Lieferer ist zwischen zwei Methoden zu wählen: - Das erste Verfahren kann im Herstellerwerk beim Gießen angewendet werden (Beschreibung in den Abschnitten 3 und 5). - Das zweite Verfahren kann auf Lose angewendet werden, die , an den vom Abnehmer bezeichneten Ort geliefert werden (Beschreibung in den Abschnitten 4 und 5). Es umfaßt zwei Wahlmöglichkeiten für die Entnahme der Probe (Bohren und Fräsen).
