Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Kronenmuttern aus Stahl, verkadmet, normale Höhe, normale Schlüsselweite, fest. Diese Muttern sind, vorwiegend unter Scherbeanspruchung, für die Anwendung in Baugruppen für Luftfahrzeuge vorgesehen. Sie sind für die Anwendung mit Schrauben der Zugfestigkeitsklasse 1 100 MPa und mit Splinten nach EN 2367 vorgesehen. Durch das Verkadmen ist die Anwendung auf Temperaturen bis höchstens 235 °C eingeschränkt.
