Dieser Teil der EN 28510 legt eine 90°-Schälprüfung unter festgelegten Bedingungen zur Bestimmung des Schälwiderstandes von Klebungen aus zwei Fügeteilen fest, von denen mindestens eines flexibel ist. Bei Verwendung einer gewöhnlichen Zugprüfmaschine für die Prüfung liegt der Schälwinkel nicht konstant genau bei 90°. Falls ein konstanter Schälwinkel von genau 90° erforderlich ist, ist eine Walzen-Schälvorrichtung zu verwenden (siehe 4.1). Die 90°-Schälprüfung ist insbesondere für wenig flexible Fügeteile geeignet, für welche die 180°-Schälprüfung ungeeignet ist, weil die Fügeteile hierbei Rissbildung zeigen, brechen oder delaminieren. Eine 180°-Schälprüfung ist in der EN ISO 8510-2 beschrieben.
