Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen für Übergangs- und Anschlussbauteile aus Steinzeug und/oder anderen geeigneten Werkstoffen fest, die mit Steinzeugrohren und -formstücken für erdverlegte Abwasserleitungen und -kanäle verwendet werden, die für die Ableitung von Abwasser (einschließlich häuslichem Abwasser, Oberflächenwasser und Regenwasser) als Freispiegelleitung und unter zeitweise erhöhtem Druck oder dauerhaft niedrigen Überdrücken betrieben werden. Zu Übergangs- und Anschlussbauteilen gehören Anbohrstutzen, Dichtringe für zugeschnittene Rohre und Schrumpfmanschetten. Diese Norm gilt auch für flexible Kupplungen und Adapter und legt dafür Anforderungen an Gummi, Polyurethan, nichtrostenden Stahl und andere verwendete Bauteile fest.
