Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften von dreipoligen, temperaturkompensierten Schutzschaltern mit Nennströmen von 1 A bis 25 A fest, die in Luftfahrzeug-Bordnetzen im Temperaturbereich zwischen -55 °C und 125 °C für Nennströme = 15 A und zwischen -55 °C und 90 °C für Nennströme > 15 A sowie bei einer Höhenlage von höchstens 22 000 m verwendet werden. Diese Schutzschalter besitzen einen Druckknopf (Betätigungsknopf) mit Druck-Zug-Betätigung mit Freiauslösung und verzögerter Auslösefunktion und einen polarisierten Signalkontakt, der bei geschlossenen Hauptkontakten geöffnet ist und umgekehrt. Ihre Funktion ist bis zum Kurzschlussstrom sichergestellt.
