Dieses Dokument legt hinsichtlich der Gefährdung durch Druck die Regeln zur Bemessung, Typprüfung, Herstellung und Inspektionskontrolle tragbarer Feuerlöscher mit Metallbehälten fest, die den Anforderungen nach EN 3-7:2004+A1:2007 entsprechen. Dieser Teil von EN 3 gilt für tragbare Feuerlöscher, bei denen der maximal zulässige Druck PS kleiner als oder gleich 30 bar ist und die nicht explosive, nicht entzündbare, nicht toxische und nicht oxidierende Fluide enthalten. Dieses Dokument gilt auch für die Kennzeichnung von Treibgasbehältern aus Metall (siehe Anhang E). Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Kohlendioxid-Feuerlöscher.
