Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen an vorgespannte Kalk-Natron-Floatglasscheiben fest, die aus allgemein erhältlichem Glas oder Glas mit hoher Lichttransmission in entspanntem Zustand (gekühlt) hergestellt sind. Das entspannte Glas wird in einem kontinuierlichen Verfahren für allgemeine Anwendung hergestellt. Die Scheiben werden entweder thermisch oder chemisch vorgespannt. Das vorgespannte Glas wird hauptsächlich für die Cockpit-Verglasung verwendet.
