Es wird in Verbindung mit EN 3155 001 angewendet. Die zugehörigen Buchsenkontakte sind in EN 3155 005 festgelegt. Die in diesem Dokument festgelegten Kontakte sind für Steckverbinderklassen anwendbar, die in der Normenreihe EN 2997 festgelegt sind. Dieses Dokument legt in Abhängigkeit von der Steckverbinderklasse zwei Kontakttypen (M und H) fest.
