Es wird in Verbindung mit EN 3155 001 angewendet. Die zugehörigen Stiftkontakte sind in EN 3155 004 festgelegt. Die in diesem Dokument festgelegten Kontakte sind für Steckverbinderklassen anwendbar, die in der Normenreihe EN 2997 festgelegt sind. Dieses Dokument legt in Abhängigkeit von der Steckverbinderklasse zwei Kontakttypen (F und H) fest.
