Dieses Dokument legt die erforderlichen Eigenschaften, Prüfungen und Werkzeuge für elektrische Buchsenkontakte 045, Typ A, doppelt gecrimpt, Klasse T, zur Verwendung in elektrischen Verbindungselementen nach EN 3155 002 fest. Es wird in Verbindung mit EN 3155 001 angewendet. Die zugehörigen Stiftkontakte sind in EN 3155 044 festgelegt. Der Kontakt mit Doppelcrimpung besitzt eine Hülse, die so konstruiert ist, dass sie den Leiter und den Leitungsmantel an zwei Stellen crimpt, sowohl am Leiter als auch am Mantel. Auf diese Weise wird der Leiter vor mechanischer Beanspruchung geschützt.
