Diese Europäische Norm gilt für kanallose Ventilatorluftkühler zum Einsatz in Kälteanlagen: a) mit direkter trockener Expansion eines Kältemittels; b) mit Flüssigkeitspumpenumwälzung eines Kältemittels; c) mit einem Kälteträger. Diese Norm legt einheitliche Verfahren zur Leistungsbewertung fest, um Folgendes zu prüfen und sicherzu-stellen: - Produktkennzeichnung; - Normleistung; - kälteträgerseitiger Normdruckabfall; - kältemittelseitiger Normdruckabfall (nur für den Betrieb mit Flüssigkeitspumpenumwälzung); - Nenn-Luftdurchfluss; - Nenn-Ventilatorleistungsaufnahme. Diese Norm behandelt nicht die Konformitätsbewertung. Sie gilt nicht für kanalmontierte Ventilatorluftkühler oder Luftkühler mit freier Konvektion. Sicherheitstechnische Gesichtspunkte sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Europäischen Norm.
