Diese Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Zwölfkantschrauben mit Dünnschaft und langem Gewinde aus hochwarmfesten Stahl FM-PM 38, Zugfestigkeitsklasse 1 000 MPa bei Umgebungstemperatur fest. Die Höchstprüftemperatur des Materials beträgt 550 °C. Diese Schrauben werden in der Luft- und Raumfahrt in Befestigungssystemen von aus Titan hergestellten Teilen angewendet, die hauptsächlich auf Zugfestigkeit beansprucht werden.
