Diese Europäische Norm legt Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Abisolierbarkeit und Haftfestigkeit der Isolie-rung auf einem Leiter von fertigen Leitungen fest. Wenn kein bestimmtes Verfahren in der entsprechenden Produktspezifikation angegeben ist, dann ist das Verfahren A anzuwenden. Verfahren B ist für Drähte empfohlen, die mit Werkstoffen isoliert sind, die eine niedrige Haftfestigkeit am Leiter aufweisen, da das Prüfverfahren A bei dieser Art von Drähten nur eine schlechte Wiederholpräzision aufweist. Die Norm ist zusammen mit EN 3475-100 anzuwenden.
