Für vertikale und geneigte Anwendungen ist diese Führung an einem oberen Anschlagpunkt angebracht; für horizontale Anwendungen kann sich der Anschlagpunkt auf Fußhöhe des Nutzers befinden. Mitlaufende Auffanggeräte einschließlich beweglicher Führung nach diesem Dokument sind Bestandteile eines der Auffangsysteme nach EN 363:2018. Andere Arten von Auffanggeräten sind in EN 353-1:2014+A1:2017 oder EN 360:2023 festgelegt.
