Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von einpoligen, temperaturkompensierten Schutzschaltern mit einem Nennstrom von 1 A bis 25 A zur Verwendung in Bordschaltungen von Flugzeugen bei Tempera-turen zwischen -55 °C und 125 °C und bis zu einer Höhe von höchstens 15 000 m fest. Diese Schutzschalter werden durch einen Druck-Zug-Einzeldruckknopf (en.: push-pull type single push button) (Betätigungsknopf) mit verzögerter Freiauslösung bedient. Die Schutzschalter funktionieren bis zum Erreichen des Kurzschlussstromes.
