Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an ein Koaxialkabel in Leichtbauweise, 50 Omega, Typ KW, zur Verwendung in elektrischen Bordnetzen von Luftfahrzeugen bei Betriebstemperaturen zwischen -55 °C und 180 °C und insbesondere für hohe Frequenzen bis 6 GHz fest. Wie durch die Prüfung zum schnellen Temperaturwechsel nachgewiesen wurde, ist erforderlichenfalls auch eine Temperatur von -65 °C zulässig.
