Diese Europäische Norm legt die erforderlichen Eigenschaften von wärmeschrumpfenden, halbsteifen Schläuchen aus Polyvenylidenfluorid (PVDF) zur Verwendung in elektrischen Bordnetzen von Luftfahrzeugen bei Betriebstemperaturen zwischen -55 °C und 175 °C fest. Diese Schläuche sind grundsätzlich transparent, dürfen aber eingefärbt sein. Sie sind halbsteif, robust sowie abriebbeständig und an Stellen geeignet, an denen eine Zugentlastung und ein mechanischer Schutz erforderlich sind oder wo ihre transparenten Eigenschaften erwünscht sind. Diese Schläuche werden üblicherweise mit Innendurchmessern von bis zu 25,4 mm mit einem Schrumpfverhältnis von 2:1 geliefert. Andere Größen als diejenigen, die in dieser Europäischen Norm aufgeführt sind, können ebenfalls verfügbar sein. Diese Schläuche müssen als dieser Europäischen Norm entsprechend anerkannt werden, wenn sie den in Tabelle 2, Tabelle 3 und Tabelle 4 aufgeführten Anforderungen mit Ausnahme der Maße und Massen ent-sprechen.
