Der Anwendungsbereich dieser Europäischen Norm ist: - Bereitstellung einer Anforderungsbeschreibung für Hersteller von CMBs (Kontakt-Speicherbuttons) für die Luft-, Raumfahrt-, und Verteidigungsindustrie. - Benennung von Mindestleistungsanforderungen für speziell in der Luft- und Raumfahrt sowie in Militärfahrzeugen verwendete CMB, die nur im Bodenbetrieb angesprochen werden. - Benennung bestehender Normen, die auf CMB anwendbar sind. - Aufstellung einer Qualifikationsnorm für CMB, die dauerhaft an Systemen angebracht werden sollen. - Bereitstellung einiger Datenmuster. Zusätzlich zu allen relevanten Dokumenten von Zulassungsstellen sollten folgende Dokumente in die Definition von Anforderungen für technische Lieferbedingungen von CMB einbezogen werden: - EUROCAE-Dokumente: ED-14, Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment. - RTCA-Dokumente: DO-160, Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment. - Militär-Norm: MIL-STD-810, Department of Defense Test Method Standard for Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests.
