Dieses Dokument legt grundlegende Anforderungen an die Leistungsfähigkeit von Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Konzentration chemischer Arbeitsstoffe in der Arbeitsplatzatmosphäre fest, wie seitens der Richtlinie über chemische Arbeitsstoffe 98/24/EG gefordert. Diese Anforderungen sind für alle Schritte von Messverfahren, unabhängig vom physikalischen Zustand des chemischen Arbeitsstoffes (Gas, Dampf, luftgetragene Partikel), Messverfahren mit voneinander unabhängigen Probenahme- und Analyseverfahren sowie für direktanzeigende Messgeräte anzuwenden. Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen fest, die bei der Prüfung unter vorgeschriebenen Laborbedingungen aufgrund einer Vielzahl von Umgebungsbedingungen in der Praxis durch Messverfahren zu erfüllen sind.
