Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften für wärmeschrumpfende, halbsteife Elastomer-Tüllen zur Verwen-dung in elektrischen Systemen von Luftfahrzeugen bei Betriebstemperaturen zwischen -75 °C und 150 °C fest. Die Formteile dürfen mit Klebstoff beschichtet angeboten werden. Für Varianten siehe Hersteller/Lieferan-ten. Eine Anleitung hinsichtlich der Kompatibilität des Klebstoffs ist in Anhang A (informativ) angegeben. Diese Formteile werden üblicherweise in den in EN 4840-002, Tabelle 1 bis Tabelle 22, angegebenen Aus-führungen und Maßen angeboten. Die Farbe ist üblicherweise schwarz. Andere Ausführungen und Maße als die speziell in EN 4840-002, Tabelle 1 bis Tabelle 22, angegebenen dürfen nach Kundenwünschen angeboten werden. Diese Teile gelten als mit dieser Norm übereinstimmend, wenn sie, mit Ausnahme der Maße, die in Tabelle 1 angegebenen Anforderungen an die Merkmale erfüllen.
