Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Sicherheitsdachhaken (Bauprodukte), die auf der Oberfläche von geneigten Dächern angeordnet und mit der tragenden Dachkonstruktion fest verbunden sind. Sie dienen zum Einhängen von Dachdeckerleitern, zum Befestigen von Dachdeckerstühlen und als Anschlagpunkte für Sicherheitsgeschirre. Dieses Dokument legt die wesentlichen Maße, die zu verwendenden Baustoffe sowie die Anforderungen an die Tragfähigkeit der an der Dachkonstruktion befestigten Sicherheitsdachhaken einschließlich ihrer Befestigungsmittel und den Umfang der Prüfungen fest. Diese EN gilt nicht für Einrichtungen, die ausschließlich als Anschlagpunkte für Sicherheitsgeschirre verwendet werden (siehe EN 795).
