Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an die Sicherheit, Festigkeit und Dauerhaltbarkeit von Arbeitstischen und Tischen für Bürotätigkeiten in sitzender, stehsitzender oder stehender Position fest. Sie gilt nicht für andere Tische im Bürobereich, die durch EN 15372 abgedeckt sind. Anhang A (informativ) enthält eine Prüfung zur Durchbiegung von Tischplatten. Anhang B (informativ) enthält ein Beispiel zur Berechnung der Steifigkeit der Konstruktion.
