Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen, Prüfmethoden und Leistungsmerkmale für rückstellbare, punktförmige Flammenmelder fest, die die Flammenstrahlung für die Entstehung eines Brandes auswerten. Flammenmelder mit besonderen Eigenschaften, entwickelt für spezielle Risiken, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm. Diese ÖNORM enthält die Europäische Änderung A1:2005. Es wurde ein neuer Anhang ZA "Abschnitte, die Bestimmungen der EG-Bauproduktenrichtlinie ansprechen" und ein Abschnitt "Literaturhinweise" aufgenommen.
