Behandelt sind Anforderungen und Prüfungen für Schlauchkupplungen mit selbsttätiger Gassperre, die zwischen Druckregler und Brenner an Geräten für Schweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse verwendet werden. Die Kupplungen sind zu verwenden mit Schläuchen nach EN 559 oder Anschlussgewinden nach EN 560 und verhindern im entkuppelten Zustand den Gasaustritt aus dem Kupplungskörper. Das Verbinden und das Lösen der Schlauchkupplungen kann von Hand unter Druck erfolgen.
