Diese Norm legt das Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Wandscheiben-Tragfähigkeit und -Steifigkeit von Wandelementen in Holztafelbauart fest. Das Prüfverfahren gilt vorrangig für die im folgenden beschriebenen Tafeln, um: vergleichbare Werte für die Leistungsfähigkeit der bei der Herstellung der Tafeln verwendeten Materialien; und Daten für die Verwendung bei der Bemessung zur Verfügung zu stellen. Das Prinzip des Prüfverfahrens ist auch für andere Größen oder Formen von Tafeln sowie für andere Niederhalteverfahren, für teilweise beplankte Tafeln sowie für Kombinationen von Tafeln geeignet.
