Diese Europäische Norm legt Methoden zur Bestimmung der Entflammbarkeitseigenschaften von Schutz-schläuchen, einschließlich doppelwandiger Schrumpfschläuche, für elektrische Leitungen und Leitungsbün-del fest. Die Norm ist zusammen mit EN 6059-100 anzuwenden. Diese Prüfungen sind konzipiert zur Erfüllung der Anforderungen von JAR-25 Abschnitt 1, Teil 1, Anhang F. Zwei Verfahren werden in dieser Norm beschrieben: Verfahren 1 - Anzuwenden für Schläuche aus textilem Gewebe. Verfahren 2 - Anzuwenden für nicht textile Schläuche zum Einsatz an elektrischen/optischen Leitungen und Kabelbaumelementen.
