Dieses Dokument legt die funktionellen Anforderungen für 4 Typen und 2 Größen und die sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen für Fußballtore fest. Es gilt für Fußballtore für Training und Wettkampf in Freisportanlagen und Hallen. Die folgenden Fußballtore sind ausgenommen: a) EN 16579: Tore mit einer Größe von 5,00 m × 2,00 m und 7,32 m × 2,44 m und mit einem Gesamtgewicht von mindestens 10 kg und höchstens 42 kg (Gesamtgewicht beinhaltet Netz, Netzbefestigungen und jedes dauerhaft angebrachte Verankerungs- oder Stabilisierungssystem); b) EN 16664: (Leichtgewicht-Tore).
