Diese Europäische Norm legt die Grenzabmaße und Formtoleranzen für stranggepresste nahtlose Rohre aus Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen mit einem Außendurchmesser (OD) (en: outside diameter) von 8 mm bis 450 mm oder mit einem Querschnitt, der in einem Umschlingungskreis (CD) (en: circumscribing circle) von 10 mm bis 350 mm enthalten ist fest, geliefert in geraden Längen. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nur für Rohre, die nach dem nahtlosen Strangpressverfahren hergestellt werden. Diese Norm gilt nur für stranggepresste nahtlose Rohre für allgemeine Anwendungen. Die in diesem Dokument verwendeten Bezeichnungen der Werkstoffzustände entsprechen EN 515. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für: - Rohre, die nach dem Strangpressverfahren mit Kammer-/Brückenwerkzeug hergestellt werden (EN 755-8); - Rohre, die in Ringen geliefert werden (EN 13957); - Rohre in Ringen, die auf Länge geschnitten werden (EN 13957).
