Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Lagerfugenbewehrung für Mauerwerk für tragende sowie für nichttragende Zwecke fest. Für Produkte zur Verwendung in zweischaligem Mauerwerk wird in dieser Europäischen Norm lediglich das Verhalten von Stahldrahtgittern als Bewehrung in Lagerfugen, nicht jedoch das Verhalten als Luftschichtanker behandelt. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für: a) Produkte in Form einzelner Flach- oder Rundstäbe; b) Produkte, die nicht aus festgelegten Sorten von austenitischem nichtrostenden Stahl, austenitisch-ferritischem nichtrostenden Stahl, Stahlblech mit Zink-Vorbeschichtung oder verzinktem Stahldraht mit oder ohne organischem/-n Überzug bestehen.
