Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Zug- und Drucktragfähigkeit sowie der Lastverschiebungseigenschaften von Mauerankern fest, die an Rahmenbauteilen oder an Innenschalen angeschraubt oder angenagelt bzw. mit Vergussmörtel oder mit anderen Mitteln befestigt sind. Die Prüfung ist für Anker zur Verbindung von Mauerwerksschalen mit Rahmenkonstruktionen und mit den Innenschalen von zweischaligen Mauern vorgesehen, sofern die Verbindung mit der Innenschale nicht durch Einbetten des Ankers in eine Mörtelfuge erfolgt.
