Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Flammpunktes von Klebstoffen, die flüchtige organische Stoffe enthalten, und ermöglicht die Korrektur bei Abweichungen von normalem Luftdruck. Die Norm ist anwendbar für Lösemittelklebstoffe und für lösemittelfreie Klebstoffe, jedoch nicht bei wässerigen Klebstoffen, die weniger als 10 % Lösemittel enthalten. Ergebnisse mit Lösemittelgemischen, die Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe enthalten, sind nur mit Vorbehalt zu beurteilen, da solche Gemische anomale Ergebnisse liefern können.
