Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Ringkriecheigenschaften von Rohren aus glasfaserverstärkten duroplastischen Kunststoffen (GFK) fest. Zu diesen Eigenschaften zählen der Kriechfaktor und die Langzeit-Kriechsteifigkeit. Die Prüfungen werden entweder unter feuchten (vollständig in Wasser eingetaucht) oder trockenen Bedingungen durchgeführt. Die Prüfung des Kriechverhaltens unter trockenen Bedingungen wird üblicherweise zur Beurteilung und Kontrolle der Konsistenz der Rohstoffe angewendet. Die Prüfung des Kriechverhaltens unter feuchten Bedingungen wird üblicherweise zur Bestimmung des Langzeit-Kriechverhaltens unter simulierten Anwendungsbedingungen durchgeführt.
