Er benennt signifikante Gefährdungen für Textilveredlungsmaschinen und legt die entsprechenden Sicherheitsanforderungen und/oder Maßnahmen fest. Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 gilt für alle Maschinen, Anlagen und zugehörige Einrichtungen, die für das Vorbehandeln, Färben, Drucken, Fixieren, Netzen, Trocknen, Appretieren und Aufmachen vorgesehen und in Abschnitt 5 spezifiziert sind, wobei der Anwendungsbereich von ISO 11111-1 soweit zutreffend zu berücksichtigen ist. Dieser Teil von ISO 11111 wird ergänzt durch die Typ C-Normen ISO 9902-1 und ISO 9902-7 in Bezug auf Geräuschmessverfahren und ISO 23771 in Bezug auf Maßnahmen zur Reduzierung der Geräuschemissionen.
