Dieses Dokument legt ein gravimetrisches Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Platin für ein als homogen angesehenes Material fest. Der Platingehalt der Probe liegt vorzugsweise zwischen 50 und 999 Massenteilen je Tausend (%o). Der Feingehalt über 999 %o kann mit einer spektroskopischen Differenzverfahren bestimmt werden (z. B. ISO 15093). Dieses Verfahren ist als eines der empfohlenen Verfahren für die Bestimmung des Feingehalts von Schmucklegierungen nach ISO 9202 vorgesehen.
