Dieses Dokument legt in Verbindung mit ISO 11298-1 die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Rohre und Formstücke, die Teil eines als Rohrstrang eingebauten Rohrleitungssystems für die Renovierung von erdverlegten Wasserversorgungsnetzen sind, fest. Es gilt für drei verschiedene Arten von PE-Rohren: - einschichtige PE-Vollwandrohre (Nenn-Außendurchmesser, dn), einschließlich etwaiger Identifizierungsstreifen; - PE-Rohre mit koextrudierten Schichten auf der Außen- und/oder Innenseite des Rohres (Gesamt-Außendurchmesser, dn), wie in Anhang A angegeben, wobei alle Schichten über die gleiche erforderliche Mindestfestigkeit verfügen; - PE-beschichtete Rohre (Außendurchmesser, dn), die über eine abziehbare, aufliegende, thermoplastische Zusatzschicht auf der Außenseite des Rohres ("beschichtetes Rohr") verfügen. Es schließt außerdem Folgendes ein: - Verbinden von Rohrstücken durch Stumpfschweißen; und - gefertigte und Spritzguss-Formstücke aus PE. Es gilt für PE-Rohre, -Formstücke und -Bauteilkombinationen, die für die Verwendung bei einer Betriebstemperatur von 20 °C als Bezugstemperatur vorgesehen sind.
